Using the Stateside Movers site, or starting an estimate or booking through it, means these terms apply. Read through the site or hire our team, and that counts as your acceptance of them.
What these terms cover
The material here is broad background about the moving work we do. By itself it creates no binding agreement — the quote you okay and the signed bill of lading are the documents that truly control your move.
Estimates and bookings
- Each quote is built from the room count, belongings, entry points, and dates you share
- In-town work is charged hourly or at a written flat figure, subject to a floor
- Your deposit holds the date and later applies against the closing invoice
- Should the actual job vary from what you told us, we talk any adjustment over first
Coverage and liability
| Item | Terms |
|---|---|
| Released-value coverage | Comes standard at 60 cents a pound for each item |
| Full-value protection | Available for an added fee, cargo covered to $1,000,000 |
| Deposit | Holds your date and applies to the closing invoice |
| Balance | Comes due after the job wraps |
Put any damage or loss in writing inside the window your moving contract and the governing Idaho and Washington law allow, and our office will guide you through the claim.
